Congratulations to Hope Martin, the first place winner of the Wisconsin NWTF State Scholarship competition. Hope was recognized for her accomplishment and awarded a check for $1,500 from Brian Dalsing, Vice President of the NWTF Board of Directors. The presentation was held at the Annual NWTF Bluff Country Long Spurs Chapter Hunting Heritage Banquet on June 5, 2021 at the Barn Restaurant in Prairie du Chien. Congratulations to Caeley Champeau, the second place winner of the Wisconsin NWTF State Scholarship competition. Caeley was recognized for her accomplishment and awarded a check for $750 from NWTF Board of Directors Alan May and Steve Kinzel. The presentation was held at the Annual Gateway Gobblers Chapter Hunting Heritage Banquet on May 24 at the Columbian Banquet Hall in West Bend. Scholarship applications are reviewed based on academics, leadership, community involvement, and student essay. EDGEFIELD, S.C.—Mossy Oak recently renewed its support of the National Wild Turkey Federation, signing a five-year agreement to continue as official camouflage of the NWTF, official convention sponsor and facilitate mission related activities to conserve the wild turkey and preserve our hunting heritage.
“We are pleased to continue our strong partnership with Mossy Oak,” NWTF Becky Humphries said. “Mossy Oak is equally dedicated to the conservation of the wild turkey and the preservation of our hunting heritage, and together we can move mountains.” New to the agreement is Mossy Oak’s recent pledge of $375,000 over five years to support NWTF’s wild turkey research projects and initiatives throughout the country. |
