The purpose of the NWTF Dr. James Earl Kennamer Academic Scholarship Program is to recognize and possibly reward NWTF members, who are currently a senior in high school, for their outstanding academic achievement, community involvement and leadership roles.

            Wisconsin Local Chapter Superfund Scholarship:
                    -  Winner award of $300 - Sponsored by NWTF-WI Superfund
           Wisconsin State Scholarships:
                   -  First place award of $2,000 - Sponsored by NWTF-WI State Chapter
                   -  Second place award of $1,000 - Sponsored by NWTF-WI State Chapter
          National Scholarship:
                   - Winner award of $10,000 - Sponsored by Mossy Oak

APPLICATION PROCESS
NWTF members, who are currently a senior in high school, must submit their online application to the National NWTF Scholarship website (https://your.nwtf.org/scholarships/) no later than January 31 each year to be eligible for consideration for any of the above listed scholarships.  

SELECTION PROCESS
  • All Wisconsin applications may only apply once.
  • All Wisconsin applications need to meet the national scholarship criteria. 
  • National Guidelines and the online application form may be found at:   https://your.nwtf.org/scholarships/ .
  • All Wisconsin applications may only receive one Local Chapter Superfund Scholarship.
  • If more than one student selects a specific Wisconsin NWTF Local Chapter, that chapter will need to select one Wisconsin Local Chapter Superfund Scholarship winner.
  • Each Student winning their Wisconsin Local Chapter Superfund Scholarship will be entered in the competition for the Wisconsin State Scholarships.
  • The first place Wisconsin State Scholarship winner will be entered in the National Scholarship competition.
