![]() Kurt Thiede (Deputy Secretary of the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources) was attending the Annual NWTF Wisconsin Glacier Valley Gobblers Hunting Heritage Banquet with his son Drew (age 8) on Saturday February 6, 2016. At the end of the night, Drew was one of the lucky winners who not only won one but two guns! Drew's smile, hugs and tears of joy were the highlight of the banquet! While visiting with Drew and his father, I learned that this was Drew's third and dad's eight Hunting Heritage Banquet and he can't wait to be old and big enough to take one of these guns out deer hunting with his Dad. His biggest concern was "I don't know which of these awesome guns will I take out with me". Congratulations to Drew and thank you Kurt for your continued support of the NWTF and our mission to Save the Habitat. Save the Hunt.
